Elizabeth Ellis is a clinical psychologist practicing in the Atlanta area since 1977. She works with children, teens, adults, and families. She also serves as an expert witness and consultant in complex family court cases.
She has published two books:
Raising a Responsible Child (Birchlane Press0, 1995 and Divorce Wars: Interventions with Families in Conflict. (American Psychological Association, 2000).

She lives in an old house near downtown Atlanta and enjoys walking, bicycling, gardening, reading literary fiction, photography, cooking, getting together with friends and family, and of course, writing. Her son, Andrew, 27, lives and works in Atlanta, and her daughter, Sarah, 22, is finishing her degree in graphic art at the University of Georgia. Sarah contributed significantly to the development of this blog.
